Supervision

I aim to provide my supervisee’s with a reflective, supportive and ethically
mindful space. I place an emphasis on the importance of realness and
compassion in my work, promoting a human approach with strong
professional boundaries.

I offer supervision to qualified counsellors, counselling students, and to
practitioners from other professional backgrounds. I have a particular
interest and expertise in Ecotherapy and therapeutic nature based work, I
can provide supervision outside, online and on the telephone.

My outdoor supervision practice takes place in and around Dunoon, Argyll.
If you would like to experience supervision outside please get in touch, you
don’t have to be working outdoors to do this. In the same way if you are
working outdoors I can meet with you online from any location.

I’m flexible in the duration and frequency of the supervision I offer. I’m
happy to just supervise your outdoor work on an ad hoc basis.

I have experience of supervising counsellors working in Private Practice,
Walk and talk counselling, Ecotherapy, providing Online and Telephone
provision, working in mental health organisations, university and college
provisions, primary and secondary schools.

My Supervision practice is based on an integration of two supervision
models, Inskipp & Proctor’s (1995) functional model, Hawkins and Shohet’s
(1989/2001) seven eyed model.

I hold a PG Certificate in Supervision from KRCS, certified by the University
of Gloucester in 2012. I gained an Advanced Diploma in supervision in
2014 accredited by NCS.
